We’ve been keeping our heads down the last few months, working hard to get three new releases out and the new website designed. Preorders are now up for The Helm lp, The Assailant lp, and the debut ep from Blues. We are making some very limited Rome Plow shirts to go along with preorder packages, and we have Helm and Assailant test pressings set aside to give away in random orders if you pick up the preorder package. Check those out in the store.

If you want a copy of the Health/Elphaba split 7″ and you don’t already have one, now is the time, we’re down to the last half dozen or so, and we don’t have any intentions of repressing it.

Coming up next: a limited hand-packaged 12″ from Playing Enemy, easily one of the most innovative bands to have come out of the Seattle hardcore scene, which you could probably guessed, as they feature ex members of Rorschach and Kiss It Goodbye. After that, we’re going to release Deadsure’s brilliant follow-up to their debut ep on No Idea. Sometime later in 2007 we’ll be putting out the debut cd/lp from the pride and joy of Tacoma, Owen Hart.

We are sold out of the mailorder copies of Cólera, thanks to everyone who picked one up.

The Assailant’s first full-length, Cólera, is now available on CD and LP. We currently have just 50 of the 150 copies from the tour pressing of the LP, handpackaged and on heavy 200 gram clear vinyl. Check out the releases section for an mp3 and pictures of the packaging for both the cd and lp. You can get copies right now via the mailorder section of the site, CDs should be showing up in distros in September.

Dialogues/Kids Explode split 7″s are in and are now up on the store! We’re really very happy with how these came out, the art by Myles Karr is fantastic, the heavy 70 gram vinyl is pretty impressive, and the songs are all better than we could have hoped for.

In other news, we are very excited to announce that later in the fall we will be releasing the debut EP from Blues. They recently recorded five tracks of southern math metal with Chris Owens of Lords in Louisville. If you want comparisons, think Botch meets Coliseum meets Breather Resist. Blues are going to be heading out for a West Coast tour in support of the cdep in October. Look for a more solid release date on that soon, we’re shooting for early October. Jeremy Forson is going to be doing the art, so it is bound to look as awesome as it sounds.

The new Assailant LP, Cólera, recorded by Ben Verellen (of Harkonen, These Arms Are Snakes), is off at the pressing plant. The cds will be out in time for their full-US tour in August/September with Elphaba, and they will have a limited edition version of the 200-gram vinyl LP with them as well, we may have a small handful of copies of that for mailorder. There will be a less limited vinyl release later in the summer/fall, pending artwork.
